French Peptan™ Collagen 8000
Stimulates Natural Collagen Production
Peptan™ is labelled as “Collagen Peptides”. It belongs to the group of Type 1 collagen, the same collagen that is found in human skin. Peptan™ contains 18 amino acids and is characterised by the predominance of glycine, proline and hydroxyproline which are the main constituents of collagen.
Peptan™ is produced at Rousselot’s state-of-the-art plant in France. Rousselot’s careful production process is able to produce Peptan™ at a molecular weight of 2000 (Da) which is highly absorbed.
When Peptan™ is digested by collagenase, the resulting peptides act as messengers to trigger the synthesis of new collagen fibres by stimulating fibroblast cells (the producers of collagen). For optimum results, researchers from Japan recommend an intake of 200mg of collagen per kilo of body weight each day.
Japanese Rose Petal Extract
Rose petal extract using 100,000 rose petals for whitening effect
The colour of a person’s skin is influenced by the number and intensity of a pigment called melanin. Tyrosinase is the enzyme which converts the amino acid tyrosine into melanin. An overproduction of melanin stimulated by excessive sun exposure, or scarring, will lead to hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. When the hyperpigmented area continues to be exposed to UV light, more melanin is produced, causing further tanning.
Rose extract has been found to reduce the activity of tyrosinase and free radicals and therefore may help reduce skin pigmentation and dark spots.
Japanese Royal Jelly
Reinvigorates your skin for optimum radiance
Royal jelly is a thick, nutritious, milky-white and creamy liquid. The active ingredients in royal jelly such as free amino acids, HDA, enzymes and glycolic acid induce fibroblast cells to produce growth factors for collagen production, enhance the deposition of collagen in the skin and increase the number of elastic fibre tissues. Moreover, royal jelly increases hyaluronic acid levels which improves water retention and encourages skin hydration.

Amla, commonly known as Indian Gooseberry or Amalaki, is a sour fruit well-known in Ayurveda for its many health and beauty benefits. Amla contains ß-glucogallin, superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione, ellagic acid and vitamin C which help reduce melanin formation and prevent damage to fibroblast cells after UV exposure.
